After making it safely through surgery, K9 Havoc finally got the moment he had been waiting for—the chance to reunite with his handler and best friend, Cpl. Brent Wilson.

Because visitors were not allowed immediately after the operation, Cpl. Wilson waited patiently until he was finally permitted to see his courageous partner. The moment they were reunited brought comfort to them both. Their bond was clear, powerful, and impossible to put into words.
Thankfully, Havoc’s surgery went even better than expected. He still has a long road of healing ahead, but everyone who knows him understands one thing: Havoc is a fighter.

During Tuesday’s dangerous incident, Havoc suffered the most serious injuries. His brave actions helped protect the officers standing beside him, proving once again that police K9s are more than working animals—they are loyal partners, protectors, and family.
Officials also clarified that Cpl. Wilson was not injured. Another #TeamCPD officer was wounded during the incident but has since been treated and released. He is taking his recovery one day at a time and is doing well.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to the incredible team at Auburn Veterinary Hospital for giving Havoc the expert care, compassion, and support he needs to heal.
Please continue sending your prayers and positive thoughts to K9 Havoc, Cpl. Wilson, the recovering officer, and everyone at #TeamCPD.
Get well soon, Havoc. Your best friend—and an entire community—are waiting to see you healthy and strong again. 💙🐾
